At Buckden Dental Clinic, we are committed to making dental care accessible and stress-free for every patient. Whether you have physical difficulties, a hearing or vision impairment, dementia, autism, or dental anxiety, our caring team is here to support you. We proudly serve patients in Buckden, St Neots, and the surrounding areas, ensuring inclusive dentistry for all.
Our promise is to listen, adapt, and provide adjustments wherever possible. We ask that you let us know if you need help, so we can make your visit as comfortable as possible.
Our practice is ground floor only, with wide corridors and spacious surgeries for easy wheelchair access. A dedicated disabled toilet is fully equipped for your needs.
Private car parking is available at the rear of the practice, close to the entrance. A buzzer at the entrance allows you to request extra assistance.
If you require a taxi when leaving, our reception team will be happy to call one for you.
We provide a hearing loop for clear communication. All information can be given in written format for you to read in your own time.
Reading glasses of varying strengths are available at reception. All patient forms (medical history, consent, estimates) are available in large bold print. Our staff are always happy to help complete paperwork if needed.
All staff are trained in dementia care and are proud members of Dementia Friends. We do our best to keep your appointments with the same dental team you are familiar with. We follow the Mental Capacity Act and work closely with carers to ensure the best care possible.
Our staff receive training to understand the individual needs of patients with autism. A quiet waiting area is available for those who prefer it. We also provide “story cards” to help explain what to expect during your visit.
Please let us know about any known triggers so we can reduce stress during your appointment.
We understand dental visits can be stressful. Our clinicians are trained in techniques to reduce fear and help you feel calm.
We also offer tailored support for younger nervous patients to make their visit positive.
Our team has extensive training in mental health awareness. We provide a non-judgmental, understanding approach so you can access dental care comfortably.
We offer flexible reminder options to suit your needs:
You will now receive reminders both four weeks and four days before your appointment.
For patients whose first language is not English, we can arrange a professional interpreter service (additional charge applies).
At present, due to regulatory restrictions, we are unable to provide home visit dental care.
If you have questions or suggestions about how we can improve access to dental care, please speak to our reception team or email us at reception@buckdendental.co.uk. At Buckden Dental Clinic, our mission is to provide inclusive, accessible dentistry for every patient in Buckden, St Neots, and beyond.

Having neglected my teeth for over 7 years due to circumstances beyond my control, covid being one of them, so I bit the bullet and went to see my dentist (Heidi) and the outcome was not good as expected, I needed 6 teeth removed, yep that’s going to hurt a little, but then I remembered that Buckden...

I’m usually a very anxious person at the dentist. I’ve had bad experiences before and had left going to the dentist far longer than I should. I’m also, regretfully, a smoker, which can feel embarrassing and shameful when speaking...

During that time, I have needed a lot of dental work, including the removal of my remaining lower teeth and the provision of a full lower denture. The extractions were painless, and the denture immediately fitted perfectly with no adjustments required. I have the utmost...

She explained what she was going to do before she started, and I didn’t get soaking wet like I did the last time I had it done with the water. Georgina was brilliant as always.”
