If the toothbrush filaments are too hard or if you use the wrong brushing technique, you can damage your gums or teeth.
Choose a toothbrush with medium or soft filaments and a tapered brush head to enable better access to the back teeth.
Remember to change your toothbrush when the filaments become worn. A worn toothbrush does not clean your teeth properly. A toothbrush should generally last you approximately three months. If you find your toothbrush doesn’t last this long, you may be applying too much pressure when brushing.

You can also use it to set yourself reminders to brush your teeth twice a day, carry out interdental cleaning and use a mouthwash (if recommended by your dentist).
